Keyword page · Australia · .com.au

Australian lending domains.

Australian finance search is a smaller market than the United States with far stronger economics per visitor: lower ranking difficulty, high advertiser cost per click and a borrower who expects an Australian address. This page sets out the measured Australian demand behind the lending names, compares it with the same terms in the United States, and explains how a .com.au name is priced and transferred.

Three readings matter. Consumer credit is overwhelmingly American by volume — a million monthly searches for personal loans against 9,900 in Australia — but at a difficulty of 97 it is closed to a new site. Commercial asset finance inverts: equipment finance draws 3,600 Australian searches against 1,900 American ones, and truck finance 2,900 against 880, both at Australian difficulty scores low enough for a focused site to compete. And Australian advertiser costs run higher on the commercial terms, which is what a lending domain is ultimately priced against.

Low or missing volume does not mean easy rankings, and a low difficulty score is evidence rather than a guarantee. These are Semrush estimates of the search market.

What a .com.au name changes

  • Australian borrowers read .com.au as an Australian lender. A .com carries no such signal.
  • Holding a .com.au requires an eligible Australian entity — usually an ABN or ACN with a close and substantial connection to the name.
  • That eligibility rule keeps competition for exact-match Australian finance names permanently narrower than for .com.
  • Australian consumer credit is regulated work. Responsible-lending obligations, a credit licence or authorisation, and comparison-rate disclosure apply to the operator, not to the domain.
  • Transfer runs on the same written terms as every other asset in the syndicate, with registrar control moved after escrow conditions are met.

We hold a substantial set of Australian names alongside the .com and .ai portfolio. Tell us the market you are entering and we will confirm in writing which names are available, at what price, and on what lease terms.

Matching the United States pages

Every argument on this page has an American counterpart. The AI lending and loan matching hub covers the architecture of a matching engine and the exact-match lending assets. AI mortgage and refinance covers break-even maths on a refinance, automotive and equipment finance covers vehicle and machinery collateral, and business equipment finance covers lease-versus-buy. The .ai lending domains page sets out the same demand case for the .ai extension.

Measured with Semrush (United States, September 2026): 2,910 searches a month across truck loans · commercial truck financing · semi truck loans at $13.45 average cost per click.

The lease is the sensible entry. $6,000 is under the $6,250 floor, so take the name for twelve months at $250 a month, prove the demand, and apply $1,500 of rent against a later purchase.

On these figures the asset pays for its midpoint valuation in roughly 2 months of replaced advertising spend.

Indicative owner-side estimate, not an independent appraisal. Cluster volume is the sum of the measured monthly search volumes of the keywords listed for each asset; cost per click is the volume-weighted average advertisers pay; difficulty is the hardest keyword in the cluster. These are measured search-demand figures, not traffic to the domain — the assets are held unbuilt, so they carry no organic traffic of their own (a sample check returned an authority score of 2/100 with only link-farm backlinks).

Indicative owner-side maths, not an independent appraisal. Every asset in the syndicate is listed and priced here.
